Corporate Securities

The Closed Joint-Stock Company “Central Depository” of the Kyrgyz Republic ensures the accounting and servicing of transactions involving corporate securities within the framework of the national depository system and securities market infrastructure.

Corporate securities are financial instruments issued by legal entities for the purpose of raising capital and developing their activities. The main types of corporate securities include shares and bonds, which provide their holders with property and other rights stipulated by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Within the framework of depository servicing of corporate securities, the Central Depository performs the following functions:

  • recording ownership rights to corporate securities;

  • maintaining depository accounts of participants of the depository system;

  • registering transactions involving the crediting, debiting, and transfer of securities;

  • supporting issuer corporate actions;

  • providing information and reports on securities transactions;

  • ensuring interaction with issuers, professional market participants, and other interested parties.

Information on corporate securities includes data on registered issues, issuers, the number of securities in circulation, and other parameters characterizing the state of the market.

The Central Depository ensures the reliability, transparency, and security of corporate securities accounting, contributing to the development of investment activity and improving the efficiency of the capital market of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Activities in this area are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, regulatory legal acts of authorized bodies, and the internal documents of the Central Depository.
