Securities Registers

The Closed Joint-Stock Company “Central Depository” of the Kyrgyz Republic ensures the maintenance of the securities holders register within the framework of the depository system and in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic governing the securities market.

The securities holders register is a systematized set of accounting data containing information on securities owners, the number of securities held by them, as well as transactions related to the transfer of ownership rights.

Within the framework of maintaining the register, the Central Depository ensures:

  • accounting and identification of securities holders;

  • recording ownership rights to securities;

  • reflecting transactions involving the transfer of rights to securities;

  • updating information on securities holders and the status of their accounts;

  • preparing reporting and informational statements upon requests from authorized persons and market participants;

  • interaction with issuers and professional securities market participants.

The register is maintained using specialized information systems that ensure the accuracy, continuity, and security of accounting data.

The Central Depository guarantees the reliability and confidentiality of the information contained in the register, as well as compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and regulatory acts of authorized bodies.

Activities related to maintaining the securities holders register are aimed at ensuring reliable capital market infrastructure, protecting investors’ rights, and increasing the transparency of securities transactions in the Kyrgyz Republic.
