Since 1997, the Central Depository has been a pivotal player in the domestic stock market.
Initially, the Central Depository attracted foreign investors as its first clients. These investors opened depository accounts and entrusted the depository with their securities issued by residents of the Kyrgyz Republic. By 1998, our clientele expanded to include numerous brokerage firms operating within the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. Today, our client base comprises the premier brokerage companies of the Kyrgyz Republic’s stock market, alongside commercial banks, investment funds, and significant foreign investors.

Furthermore, the Central Depositor” has established a strong correspondent relationship with the Central Securities Depository (Kazakhstan), initiated in October 1999, bolstering our regional connectivity.
